Garden

Number One Seagate is surrounded by a fully enclosed, private and landscaped garden for our holiday home guests to enjoy.

At the front of house you will find a large courtyard area set up with outdoor dining table & chairs close to the BBQ ready for a relaxed meal - our guests are welcome to pick from the herbs which are planted along the garden wall.  There is an outdoor tap to rinse off sandy feet and paws.   The courtyard area is a sun trap in the morning - watch out for the spectacular sunrises here on the Yorkshire Coast!

To the rear of the house is a paved & gravelled garden space, accessible through the French doors in the lounge or the path which runs around the outside of the property.

The garden area is designed for lazy summer days and crisp evenings sat beneath the stars beside the fire pit - the night sky in these parts is often very clear allowing for a dazzling display.

Relax on the bench or rocking chairs - listen to the bird song and the sound of the waves on the beach.    If you're lucky you may get a visit from the local pheasants who occasionally pop into the garden!

Parking & Accessibility

There is parking for one vehicle within the gated, courtyard area located in front of our garage which is adjacent to the holiday home.  This area is shared with our friendly neighbours.  Should you need additional parking, there is a small area of free on-road parking within 30 metres.

The garage is accessible for storage of your bikes, kayaks etc. and you will find within beach chairs, buckets & spades and a few other outdoor items you are welcome to use during your stay.

Access to the house from the parking area is via a gate and short level path alongside the garage.  There is an additional access gate within the old wall which leads direct onto Seagate via three steps.
